Co-housing
The project we publish is Linden Court in Leuven, completed in 2022. It is co-housing of 24 apartments, with a shared garden, a timber frame, and deck access. The shared court is part of the housing, not a leftover space beside it. Between the blocks there is a courtyard garden, with benches and bicycles. People share the garden and reach their homes along the decks. That is the co-housing row.
We do not describe a club, a roster of residents, or a set of house rules. Those were not part of the published project. Lieve Maes is the project architect for housing and has been at the studio since 2014. The court is the studio’s housing work, not a claim that one person designed it alone. Twenty-four apartments is the size of this court. It is not a minimum and not a maximum for the next brief.

Small apartment buildings
Linden Court is also the small apartment building on our list. Four storeys of timber-clad housing, deck access, and a garden, in Leuven, 2022, 24 apartments. We do not have a second named apartment building to put beside it, so this row stays with Linden Court and reads the building as apartments rather than as the shared court alone. The timber frame is the structure. Deck access is how you reach the homes. The garden is shared. A small building, for us, means a court of this kind: enough homes to need a common outdoor room, few enough that the access and the garden still belong to the people who live there.
We will not invent another town or another unit count to make the list look longer. Fees for housing use the practice list. A feasibility study is €3,800. Sketch design is from €9,500 and includes a model at 1:100. Full service is 9 % of the build cost. We do not promise a sales price or a completion date.
