A 1987 record named a pin at the corner of a driveway that had since been repaved. Hana Sørli found the record before the visit, and Tomasz Reyes measured from two other pins that were still visible.
The old pin was 30 cm below the new paving. It was uncovered, checked and capped. A pin reset is $160 per pin when one missing pin has an existing record.
The cap now sits flush with the surface where anyone can see it.
