5 things a visit shows

A first visit is twenty minutes with an attendant, free and with no obligation. You see the corridor, the desk, a size that matches your list, the loading bay, and how the rooms are held. Nothing is signed until you have walked it.

1

Arrive at the
lift lobby

The lift lobby is the start of the walk. Six floors share one dedicated building, and the attendant takes you toward the floor where the size you asked about is open. You are not left to search the corridors alone.

Walk the corridor
with an attendant

An attendant walks beside you and points into the corridor so you can judge the run of doors, the light, and how far a hand truck travels from the bay. The walk is the visit. It is not a brochure stand at the desk.

See sizes
side by side

Three small units stand open side by side so the difference between sizes is visible, not described. A Shelf, a Closet and a Box Room hold different amounts. Seeing the fill is how most households decide.

Load at the
covered bay

The covered loading bay is where a hatchback pulls in. A hand truck is lent at no charge, and there is no separate fee to use the bay. If you are moving cartons the same day, this is the door you will use.

See how the rooms
are held

Rooms are held between 18 and 24 C and kept below 60% relative humidity. An attendant can show you the gauge on the corridor wall. Contents cover, if you want it, is a separate $6 a month.

How a first visit runs

Book a slot and an attendant meets you at the desk. The walk takes twenty minutes. You look at the size you named, and at the one beside it if the first looks tight. You leave with a clear price or you sign and move in the same day, provided the slot was booked before 15:00, you have photo ID, and the first month is paid.

1

Book a slot

Book a slot by phone on 555-0142 or from this page. Name the day and the size you want to see. The desk is staffed 09:00 to 19:00, seven days.

Walk it
before you sign.

The corridor is the decision. Twenty minutes, an attendant beside you, and a unit standing open. If the size is wrong, you try the next one before any paper is filled in.

Between two leases

Owen and Lucia Marsh kept a Box Room for five months while they waited out the gap between two Lindenport leases. The studio flat’s contents stayed in cartons at 48 Alder Row, and they collected them the week the new keys arrived. A Box Room is 3 m², $98 a month.

The books came back

Hana Yilmaz used a Closet for fourteen months, long enough for the shelves at home to be rebuilt. The books went into cartons, then back onto shelves, and the folded bike shared the same 1.5 m². A Closet is $62 a month.

Before you book

Can I move in the same day?

Yes, if the visit is booked before 15:00. Bring photo ID and pay the first month at the desk. The attendant issues the key card on the day.

What does a visit cost?

Nothing. The visit is twenty minutes, free, and with no obligation. You can leave after the walk and book again later.

Is there a deposit or an admin fee?

No. The admin fee is $0, the key card is $0, the hand-truck loan is $0, and there is no deposit. You pay the monthly price and, if you add it, contents cover at $6.

How long is the term?

One month minimum. After that, 30 days’ notice ends the contract. Priya Nair writes the notice date into the paperwork at the desk.

When can I get into the building?

The desk is staffed 09:00 to 19:00, seven days. With a key card, building access is 06:00 to 23:00, seven days. Staffed means those desk hours.

What are the rooms like inside?

Rooms are held between 18 and 24 C and kept below 60% relative humidity. Contents cover is optional, $6 a month, up to $5,000, for fire, water and theft. It is not a condition of renting a unit.
