Visit
A first visit is twenty minutes with an attendant, free, and with no obligation to take a unit. You can still move in the same day when the slot was booked before 15:00.
Three stops in twenty minutes

The first minutes at the desk
The twenty minutes begin at the desk, not at a locked door. In the morning Daniel Achebe is head attendant. On weekend days Amara Diallo is at the desk, inside the same 09:00 to 19:00 hours.

The corridor, with the door open
From the desk you walk the corridor with the attendant. Closed doors give you the run of the floor. An open door gives you the size.

The bay, then the decision
If you are arriving with a car, the covered loading bay is part of the same visit. Rafael Souza looks after the bay and the hand trucks. A couple can unload a hatchback onto a hand truck without a separate booking, and the loan of the truck is $0.

The corridor, with the door open
The attendant can hold a carton while you look in, which is the ordinary picture of a visit here: you see the depth of the room, the shelves if that unit has them, and the path back to the lift. Six floors and 412 units sound large on a page. On the walk they are a single clean corridor and one room you might rent. Mei Lin Ho joins this part when the choice is between two floor areas. You are not timed with a stopwatch, but the visit is planned as twenty minutes so the next household can have the same attention. Questions about climate belong here too: rooms are held between 18 and 24 C and kept below 60% relative humidity.
At the desk
You will see an attendant with a clipboard and a plain record of the slot you booked. Tell them which of the five sizes you think you need, or say that you do not know yet. Priya Nair handles contracts and accounts when the conversation turns into an agreement. No one asks you to sign in the first minute. The building opened in 2014 as one dedicated building, and the desk still treats a first visit as a walk, not as a completed move. If you only wanted to see the corridor, that is a complete visit.
The bay, then the decision
You do not have to unload on the day you look. Many people walk the corridor, go home, and return on a booked move-in. If you do want to start today, the conditions are the ones already stated: booked before 15:00, photo ID, first month paid. You receive a key card for the door. Building access with that card is 06:00 to 23:00, seven days, which is wider than desk hours. After 19:00 the desk is not staffed. The card is how you come and go inside the access window.
Four steps
The visit runs in four steps, side by side, with no extra stage hidden underneath.
Book a slot
Book a slot. Use the visit form or call 555-0142 during desk hours.
Walk the corridor
Walk the corridor for about twenty minutes with an attendant.
Choose and sign
Choose and sign. Signing needs photo ID and the first month.
Move in
Move in with the key card and a hand truck.
The minimum term from that signature is one month. When you later leave, the notice is thirty days. Optional contents cover, if you want it, is $6 a month up to $5,000 for fire, water and theft, decided at the desk rather than in the corridor.
Bring with you
Bring six things if you can.
Photo ID, because a signature on the day requires it. Your phone, so the desk can reach you about the slot. Measurements of any piece that might decide the size. A list of what you intend to store, in plain language, so Shelf through Garage Bay can be compared with your actual load. The car plate, if you are coming by car to the loading bay. And a card, so you can pay the first month if you decide to sign.
If you are only walking, the list and the measurements are enough, and the card can stay in your pocket. The visit fee is $0. Nothing on the list is a deposit. There is no deposit on the agreement either.
