Salon Leadership and Cutting Direction
Amara Lindqvist is the founder and principal of Kesho College, directing our colour curriculum and overall academic standards since opening the school in 2009. A specialist in formulation chemistry, corrective work, and complex foil placement, she continues to train students in the patience and scientific accuracy necessary for modern colour work.
Working alongside her, Theo Marchetti serves as head of cutting. Theo leads our structural cutting curriculum, teaching students the discipline of scissor tension, body positioning, and geometric graduation through rigorous mannequin drills and close individual supervision during live morning demonstrations.
02
Specialist Craft Instructors
Our specialist technical subjects are led by experienced trade practitioners. Nadia Okafor leads the Barbering Certificate, instructing trainees in precision skin fades, traditional scissor-over-comb techniques, beard reshaping, and classic hot-towel skin prep.
Inês Duarte heads the Makeup Artistry Certificate, teaching facial geometry, skin balance, and editorial techniques for commercial, wedding, and performance assignments. Hana Kowalski directs the Nail Technology Certificate, guiding students through natural nail health, acrylic enhancements, precision cuticle alignment, and strict salon hygiene practices. Each specialist instructor ensures that students master real workplace techniques rather than outdated theory.
03
Salon Floor Management and Admissions
Operational discipline and student well-being are guided by our dedicated administrative team. Samuel Reyes manages the Student Salon, overseeing daily public appointment bookings, stock management, client reception, and trainee floor schedules while enforcing our 1:7 supervision ratio.
Clara Weiss leads admissions, coordinating our monthly open mornings, scheduling one-hour practical trial sessions, and conducting applicant interviews. Together, Samuel and Clara ensure that student intake numbers remain capped at 14 learners and that the training floor operates with the calm, systematic efficiency expected in high-end commercial salons.
