Entry Requirements and Candidate Profile
Our admissions process is designed to be accessible, transparent, and focused entirely on practical suitability. Applicants must be at least 16 years of age by the start date of their chosen intake.
We do not require prior hairdressing experience, previous art qualifications, or formal beauty certificates. Instead, our tutors look for candidates who display genuine curiosity, natural hand dexterity, reliable punctuality, and the stamina to train on their feet for thirty hours each week. Because class sizes are strictly capped at 14 students per intake, we seek individuals who communicate respectfully and are eager to work collaboratively within a focused salon team.

The Four-Step Admissions Process
Enrolment at Kesho College follows a clear four-step path to ensure mutual fit between student and school. Step one begins with visiting an open morning, held on the first Saturday of each month at 10:00.
Step two is a one-hour practical trial at our Lindmoor campus, where tutors observe your hand coordination and response to simple demonstrations. Step three is an informal individual interview with admissions director Clara Weiss to discuss your schedule, goals, and course expectations. Step four is the formal offer of admission and payment of the €300 deposit, which secures your chair in the upcoming intake cohort.
03
Required Documents and Enrolment Timelines
To complete your application following your interview, you will need to submit a completed application form, valid government-issued photographic identification confirming you are aged 16 or older, and contact details for one character reference. Once Clara Weiss issues your written acceptance letter, you have fourteen days to pay the €300 deposit and confirm your place.
The remaining course fees can be paid in three structured instalments, with the first instalment and the €420 kit fee due two weeks before the intake commences. Prospective students are encouraged to attend an open morning early, as spaces fill quickly.
