How we work together
One plan, not eight opinions
Surgeons and physiotherapists in the same room
The surgeons, the sports medicine physician and the physiotherapists meet every Thursday morning to go through the week’s complex cases. When a patient needs more than one of us, they see a single written plan rather than a series of separate letters.
Most people see a surgeon first for a diagnosis, then continue with the physiotherapist who will see them most often. If an operation is needed, the surgeon and physiotherapist agree the recovery programme before the day of surgery. If it is not, the same team carries on.
Not sure who to see? Request a visit and tell us where it hurts: our reception team will match you with the right clinician and offer a time that same week.
Request a visit by Wednesday 17:00 and be seen this week.
