Who you will see and how they work

Priya looks after people whose hips and knees have worn out. Her consultations are unhurried: she shows the joint on a model, lists the non-surgical options first, and only then talks about replacement, including what the first six weeks usually look like.

She runs the joint-replacement preparation session with the physiotherapists, so patients meet the people who will help them recover before they come in for surgery.
