Therapists

the people

Seven people work at the clinic. You see one lead clinician for your problem, and Elena Duarte for the booking and the receipt. Treatment stays with the person who assessed you.

YOU WILL SEE

Clara Mendes

Clara Mendes founded Hodoki Clinic in 2015 and is the clinical lead. She is a physiotherapist focused on neck and shoulder, including the desk patterns that become afternoon pain and the headaches that sit with them. She still treats. The order of work you will meet in every bay — listen, test, treat on the same day, then strengthen — is hers.

When you book a neck or shoulder problem that is not a recent operation, ask for Clara. Shoulders after surgery are Priya Nair’s focus, and Clara will say so if that is the better room. She works from the same five bays as the rest of the team, at 2F, 41 Alder Street, Fernhill.

Tomasz Wolski

Physiotherapist · post-surgery rehabilitation, knee and hip · English, Polish

Tomasz Wolski is a physiotherapist in post-surgery rehabilitation, focused on knee and hip. Ask for him after a knee replacement, a hip replacement, or a ligament repair at those joints. He speaks English and Polish.

His sessions follow the surgeon’s protocol. Early work protects the joint. Later work restores range and returns you to stairs and walking. Marcus, 58, did twelve rehab sessions over fourteen weeks with Tomasz after a knee replacement. He now walks to work and takes the stairs at the station. Tomasz will not offer you that timetable as a target. He will test you and write your plan. The rehabilitation session is 60 minutes at $90.

Amara Osei

Physiotherapist · back pain and desk-related pain · English, French

Amara Osei is a physiotherapist for back pain and desk-related pain. Long sitting, a back that eases when you walk and stiffens when you sit again, and the ordinary ache of a screen-based week are her daily work. She speaks English and French.

She shares care with Sofia Lindgren when a Desk Reset class would help the same plan. Noor, 41, had three follow-ups with Amara and eight weeks of Desk Reset for lower-back stiffness from sitting. If your back pain follows a hip or knee operation, say so. That rehabilitation belongs with Tomasz, and Amara will not stretch a desk plan over a surgical protocol.

Jonah Reed

Physiotherapist · hand, wrist and elbow

Jonah Reed is a physiotherapist for the hand, wrist, and elbow. He sees the forearm that tightens over a keyboard, the wrist that aches after a day on the mouse, and the elbow that complains when you grip. How you reach is part of the assessment, because the arm repeats whatever the desk asks.

A workstation review with the clinic is 45 minutes at $80, at your office or by video, and it often sits beside his treatment. His own visits use the usual fees: $95 for a first hour, then $75 for 45 minutes or $55 for 30. He tests grip and wrist range before he treats. The written plan names one or two changes, not a long list of gadgets.

Sofia Lindgren

Exercise physiologist · leads Desk Reset classes

Sofia Lindgren is an exercise physiologist. She leads Desk Reset, the small-group class for desk workers. The class runs 50 minutes, costs $28, and holds no more than six people. It meets on Tuesday and Thursday at 18:15, and on Saturday at 10:00, in the small exercise studio beside the five treatment bays.

Sofia teaches you to open the chest, settle the shoulders, and stand from a chair with the hips doing their share. She does not replace a physiotherapy assessment. If you are in pain and have not been seen, book a first visit first. If you are already on a plan with Amara, Clara, or Jonah, the class can sit alongside it.

Priya Nair

Physiotherapist · post-surgery shoulder

Priya Nair is a physiotherapist for the post-surgery shoulder. Replacement and repair at the shoulder ask for a different patience from a desk shoulder. The protocol sets the angles, and the neck will try to help too much. Her sessions are the 60-minute rehabilitation visit at $90.

She keeps to the surgeon’s written limits, as Tomasz does for knee and hip. Early sessions protect. Later sessions restore reach, including reaching without letting the neck brace. If your shoulder pain is from the desk and there has been no operation, Clara is the better booking. Tell Elena which history is yours when you phone or book online.

Elena Duarte

Clinic coordinator · bookings and insurer receipts

Elena Duarte is the clinic coordinator. She does not treat. She keeps the bookings, matches you to the right therapist, and prepares receipts with treatment codes for your insurer. Phone her on +1 555 0142 300 or email hello@hodoki-clinic.example.

Elena can tell you whether the first hour should be the $95 assessment or the $90 post-surgery session, which Desk Reset class still has a place, and how to cancel up to 24 hours ahead at no charge. If you want a visit in Polish, she will book Tomasz. If you want a visit in French, she will book Amara. Both also work in English.
