Your first visit
sixty minutes
The first visit is 60 minutes and costs $95. We take a history, test how you move, treat you in that same hour, and send a written plan the same day.

FIRST VISIT
Book
Book online or by phone on +1 555 0142 300. Elena Duarte looks after bookings and insurer paperwork. In one sentence, say whether this is a desk problem or a recovery after surgery, and which part hurts. If you have a surgeon’s protocol, say that too.
We match you to the person who leads that work. Clara Mendes for neck and shoulder. Tomasz Wolski for knee and hip after surgery. Priya Nair for a shoulder after surgery. Amara Osei for back and desk-related pain. Jonah Reed for hand, wrist, and elbow. No referral is required. We are open Monday to Friday 08:00–20:00 and Saturday 09:00–14:00. Sunday and public holidays we are closed. The last appointment starts one hour before closing.

Assess
The hour starts with history. What you cannot do this month that you could do before. What the workday looks like. What the surgeon allowed, if there was an operation. Then we test movement. A shoulder may be measured. A knee may be taken through a bend you use in real life. A back may be watched as you sit and stand.
We do not start treatment before we have looked, and we do not spend the hour only talking. The tests give the session a direction. Wear clothes you can move in. Shorts help for a knee or hip, and a vest helps for a shoulder. Ordinary work clothes are fine if they let us see the joint we need to see.
Treat
Hands-on treatment starts in the same 60 minutes, once the tests have pointed somewhere. You should feel that something specific was tried, and we should be able to say whether the test changed. A first idea that does not hold is still a result. We would rather find that in the room than send you home with the wrong exercise.
The first visit, assessment and treatment together, costs $95. If you are coming straight into rehabilitation after an operation, the post-surgery session is 60 minutes at $90. Elena confirms which fee applies before you go into the bay. You pay for that visit. You are not asked to prepay a course you have not discussed.
Plan
Before the day ends you receive a written plan. It names what we found, what we did, and what we are asking you to practise at home. The home programme is meant to be small enough to keep beside a normal week. The plan also says when we want to see you again. Follow-ups are usually every one to two weeks.
You do not have to buy a package for the plan to exist. A block of five 45-minute follow-ups, used within four months, is $340 if you later want that clarity. A single follow-up is $75 for 45 minutes. A short follow-up is $55 for 30 minutes. We will say which length fits. Receipts carry treatment codes for your insurer.
Review
At week six we review. The question is practical: are you closer to the thing you came for, and is the spacing of visits still right? Some people need less by then. Some need a different exercise, a workstation review at $80, or a move into Desk Reset. The review is a clinical conversation. It is not a meeting to sell the next block of time.
Stories on this site are consented composites. They are not a forecast. Lena’s six sessions over eight weeks, Marcus’s twelve sessions over fourteen weeks, and Noor’s eight weeks of class with three follow-ups each ended in a change that person agreed to describe. Your review uses your tests, not their timelines.
What should I wear, and what should I bring?
Wear something you can move in, and shoes you can walk in if stairs or gait are the problem. Bring the surgeon’s protocol if you have one. Bring a recent report if you want it read. You do not need a referral, a scan, or a special kit. A photo of your desk helps when the pain is from work, even before a formal workstation review.
The clinic is at 2F, 41 Alder Street, Fernhill, with a step-free lift. Arrive a few minutes early so the sixty minutes are spent on you. Elena meets you at reception. If you are not sure physiotherapy is the right door, come anyway. Testing comes before treatment, and if the work is not ours we will say so on the day.
