This statement describes what Kanade holds about families and applicants, and which address receives which kind of message. It is the privacy text for the school.

What the school holds

Kanade International School, at Rua do Jardim Alto 18, 1400-150 Lisboa, Portugal, holds the details families send so that a child can be considered for a place, enrolled, and looked after during the school day. That includes the name of the child and the family, the year group, previous school reports sent with an application, and the email address and phone number you use with us. The application fee of €250 and the enrolment deposit of €2,000 are recorded against the application and the offer. Fee charges for 2026–27, including tuition by year group and the optional bus and lunch, are held on the family account. The school was founded in 1994 and teaches about 640 students aged 4 to 18.

Who receives your message

Email is read by the office it is sent to. admissions@kanade-school.example is for places, visits and applications, and a new enquiry is answered within two school days. office@kanade-school.example is for absence, the bus and lunch. Absence messages should arrive by 8:15. careers@kanade-school.example is for a CV and a role application, and is not used for student places. The phone +351 21 000 4800 is answered during office hours, Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 16:30. Please do not send a CV to the admissions address or a child’s reports to the careers address. Each inbox is limited to that work. The campus address above is the place to write to if you need a postal reply.

Asking about your own details

A parent or guardian may ask what is held about their own child, or ask for a correction, by emailing office@kanade-school.example or calling +351 21 000 4800 during Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 16:30. Staff applications are handled only through careers@kanade-school.example. The school does not sell family details. Details are used to reply to you, to run admissions, to administer fees and the optional bus and lunch, and to look after students during the published day, from arrival at 8:20 until activities end at 16:30. This page does not set a retention period in years, and it does not name any outside processor. If a question is about safeguarding rather than about data, write to the office and it will be passed to Rafael Ortiz, Pastoral and Wellbeing Lead.
