Kanade International School was founded in 1994 and is an IB World School offering the Primary Years, Middle Years and Diploma Programmes. Teaching is in English. About 640 students, aged 4 to 18, come from about 40 nationalities and learn on one campus in Lisbon, at Rua do Jardim Alto 18, 1400-150 Lisboa. A teacher here works with colleagues across the three programmes rather than in a separate school for each age.

The language pathway is part of every week. Portuguese begins in Kindergarten, French or German begins in Grade 6, and mother-tongue clubs sit beside English-medium lessons. Mei-Lin Chou leads that work. Class teachers and specialists plan next to the people who hold the programme roles: Tomás Ferreira in primary, Amara Nwosu in the Middle Years and Jonas Becker in the Diploma.

The school day is bounded and publishable. Students arrive at 8:20, lessons run from 8:30 to 15:20, and activities continue until 16:30. Staff collaborate in a shared staff room. Pastoral questions go to Rafael Ortiz. The Head of School is Dr. Helena Marsh.

Each closing date is final for that advertisement. Later open mornings for families, on 12 January 2027 and 9 February 2027, are not interview days. The campus is at Rua do Jardim Alto 18, 1400-150 Lisboa.
