Work

Work stays use the same rooms and the same desk that is already in each of them. Daniel Okafor handles these enquiries, including the long-stay Studio rate and the reading room.

A desk in the room
Every room has a desk. In the Studio it sits by the window beside the queen bed, in 19 square metres. In the Corner room the king bed and two windows take the angle, and the desk stays on the main floor of the 26 square metres. In the Loft the desk is on the mezzanine, above the king bed, up the steel stair, in 34 square metres. The desk is for one person working, even when two guests share the room.
Two is the maximum. Wi-Fi is included. The chair is a working chair, and the lamp is there for after dusk. If you are in the house for an audit, a deadline, or a run of meetings, say so when you enquire. Daniel Okafor looks after guest relations for work stays. He reads that note before we reply, so the room we offer is the one whose desk matches the way you work.

Long stay and the reading room
A Studio held for five nights or more is €132 per night, breakfast included, instead of €148. The long-stay rate does not apply to the Corner or the Loft. Rafael M. used it for six nights with a deadline in the room. A stay of four nights or fewer remains on the nightly rate of the room you choose. The reading room is the meeting room for six. A half day, four hours, is €90.
It has an oak table and linen chairs, and it is booked beside the bedroom, not instead of one. Printing is available for work stays; Daniel Okafor sets it up once the room is confirmed. Name the hours you want the reading room in the same message as your dates and room type. We reply within one working day with availability and both rates, the night and the half day, if you asked for both.

Quiet hours and a working evening
Quiet hours run from 23:00 to 07:00. They suit a long task better than they suit a reception. If you still have a call at the desk in your room, keep it inside those hours’ expectation: low voice, door shut. The bar, open from 17:00 to 00:30 under Priya Raman, is the place for a conversation that should not happen in the corridor. Around 19:00 the house is in its evening chapter, and a table there can hold a notebook as easily as a glass.
Water is included. The front desk, led in the daytime by Tomás Ferreira and at night by Aiyana Brooks, is open twenty-four hours if a document must be collected or a car ordered. Smoking is not allowed. Pets are not accepted. The building is a 1931 printing house opened as Akari Hotel in 2019, and it still behaves like a place where people are trying to finish something.

Arriving for work
Send the dates, the room type, and whether you need the reading room. Within one working day we reply with availability and the rate. You confirm with a card. Cancellation is free until forty-eight hours before arrival. Check-in is from 15:00, check-out by 11:00. Late check-out until 15:00 is €30 per room if the morning of departure is still a working morning.
Breakfast, included, is 07:00 to 10:30, weekend until 11:00, if you want it before you leave for a meeting. Wrenfield Central is a six-minute walk from 18 Tessel Street, which is usually the more reliable way to a first appointment than a car from the door. City tax is paid at the desk and is not inside the room rate. Daniel Okafor is the person named on work stays. If he is off the desk, the reply still comes within one working day.
