Rooms

Forty-two rooms occupy the old printing house: twenty-four Studios, twelve Corner rooms, and six Lofts. Every room is for two guests at most, with its own bath and a desk.

Studio
Studio · 19 m² · from €148
The Studio is 19 square metres, with a queen bed and a compact desk set by the window. There are twenty-four of them. The rate is €148 per night, breakfast included. Stay five nights or more and the same room is €132 per night. One window gives the desk its light; in the evening a lamp is enough. The bath is private: a walk-in shower and a stone basin, with towels folded and left ready.
Two guests is the maximum. The room is meant for sleeping and for a working day that fits on one table, not for a second sofa or a cot we do not keep. Hannah K. used a Studio for two nights around an audit. Rafael M. kept one for six nights on the long-stay rate. Both were here to work, and the desk is the piece of furniture that decides whether the room is the right one.

Corner
Corner · 26 m² · from €186
The Corner room is 26 square metres. A king bed sits where two windows meet, and an armchair takes the angle between them. Twelve Corner rooms are in the house. The rate is €186 per night, with breakfast included. The desk is in the room, as it is in every room, placed so the windows are for the bed and the chair rather than for the screen. The bath matches the house: walk-in shower, stone basin, soft light.
Two guests is the maximum. Two of the twelve Corner rooms are step-free from the street door to the room and into the bath. Ask for one of those two when you send dates; they are not held back for a later upgrade, and they go when they are asked for. If both are taken, we say so in the reply, within one working day, and offer another room only if you want it.

Loft
Loft · 34 m² · from €238
The Loft is 34 square metres, with a high ceiling, a king bed on the main floor, and a desk on a mezzanine reached by a steel stair. Six Lofts are in the house. The rate is €238 per night, breakfast included. The mezzanine is a working shelf, not a second bedroom: the bed below is the only bed, and two guests remain the maximum. Light comes from the tall room rather than from a corner pair of windows.
The bath is the same private arrangement as the other rooms, with a walk-in shower and a stone basin. Ines and Theo took a Loft for one Saturday night with nothing planned. The stair is the thing to know about before you book. If you would rather keep the desk on the same floor as the bed, the Studio or the Corner is the clearer choice, and we will say so.

In the room and the house
Every rate includes breakfast, Wi-Fi, and water at the bar. Every room has a desk. Blackout covers the window when you want the room dark, and the bedside lamp stays. Housekeeping is led by Lucie Morel; rooms are reset while you are out, and a turn-down is there at night if you are staying in. The reading room, a meeting room for six, can be booked for a half day of four hours at €90.
Printing for work stays is arranged with Daniel Okafor. The bar, under Priya Raman, runs from 17:00 to 00:30. The front desk is open twenty-four hours. Quiet hours are 23:00 to 07:00. Smoking is not allowed. Pets are not accepted. There is no pool and no extra room type beyond the forty-two: twenty-four Studios, twelve Corners, six Lofts. Late check-out until 15:00 is €30 per room, added only if you ask.

Step-free rooms
Two Corner rooms are step-free. The path from the entrance at 18 Tessel Street to the room, and from the room into the bath, does not include a step. They are king-bed Corner rooms at the same rate, €186 per night with breakfast, and they count toward the twelve Corners, not as a separate category. Tell us in the enquiry that you need a step-free room, with your dates.
We reply within one working day and confirm only if one of the two is free. The Studio and the Loft are not step-free; the Loft’s mezzanine stair rules it out, and we will not describe them as if they were. If you use a chair or simply prefer not to manage a threshold, name that in the first message. Tomás Ferreira’s team notes it before the card is taken, so the room you confirm is the room you can enter.
