The yard and the quay
Travel lift
The yard travel lift is 25 tonnes, and Henrik Vale is in charge of it. Lift-out, wash and block-off for a boat up to 12 m is €240 once, VAT included. The lift is how a boat leaves the water for winter ashore, or for work that cannot be done alongside. It is not a separate marina and it does not add berths: Tomari Marina stays at 100 berths on the North Quay. If your boat is booked to come out, the time is agreed with Henrik through the office, and the morning round still happens at 06:30 on the pontoons whether or not the lift is working that day. The fee covers the lift, the wash and the block-off as one job.

Fuel and pump-out
Samir Haddad runs the fuel berth and the pump-out. Both are open from 07:00 to 19:00. The morning round begins on that same pontoon earlier, at 06:30, when Ines Marlow starts her walk, and Samir’s hours begin as the office opens. Boats take fuel and pump-out alongside, then leave the berth clear. Visiting boats that have called on VHF channel 12 wait at the fuel berth until they are given a place for the night. There is no separate fuel price in the season list; fuel is taken at the berth during those hours, and the published visitor charge remains €3.20 per metre per night if you stay.

Showers and laundry
Showers and laundry are in the buildings by the yard, for people with a season berth and for visitors who are staying the night. They sit with the rest of the shore side, a short walk from the Harbour Office at 2 North Quay. In season the office is open daily from 07:00 to 19:00, which is when you will find someone to ask. From November to March the office is open Monday to Saturday, 08:00–16:00. No separate fee for showers or laundry is published; the season fee and the visitor night fee are the charges listed for being here. Mei Lin Choi’s evening check at 21:00 is on the pontoons, not a late opening of the laundry.

Winter ashore
Winter ashore is hard standing for a boat up to 10 m, from November to March, at €1,150, VAT included. The boats stand under plain covers, and Henrik Vale looks after the yard through those months. Lift-out, wash and block-off, up to 12 m, is the €240 one-time charge when the boat comes out. A boat that stays on a pontoon or a swing mooring through the season, 1 April to 31 October, is on a different fee: €1,680, €2,340, €3,120 or €960, depending on the berth. Winter does not extend those season prices, and a season berth does not include the hard standing. Book the winter place with the office before you need the lift.
