Six startingprices in CAD
Starting prices are in Canadian dollars and match the six rates used across Daichi Landscapes. A site survey turns each rate into a measured quantity.
Six starting prices
Every price below is a starting price in CAD, confirmed after the site survey. Site survey and planting plan: $1,200. Street tree planting, per tree: $680. Campus grounds maintenance, per month, up to 2 ha: $3,400. Green roof and planter install, per m²: $145. Seasonal aftercare visit: $420. Winter pruning, per day, crew of 3: $1,950. We publish the six figures so a facilities lead can see the shape of a job before week 1. The survey, in weeks 1–2, is what turns a starting price into a quantity. Survey, plan and street trees
The $1,200 CAD starting price covers the site survey and the planting plan. In weeks 1–2 we measure pits, paving edges and the room each tree needs. In weeks 3–5 the plan is written, including the rule of 60% native or adapted species and the rule that 80% of stock is grown within 150 km. Street tree planting starts at $680 CAD per tree.
That tree price includes the guard and 2 seasons of watering. It does not include the survey. Tom Okafor leads planting in weeks 9–11. Priya Raman checks stake and clearance on the street trees before handover.
Campus grounds and green roofs
Campus grounds maintenance starts at $3,400 CAD per month and applies to grounds up to 2 ha. It is the monthly care of a campus, hospital courtyard or similar ground after planting, scheduled by Marcus Delgado so the site can stay in use. Riverside General Hospital, with 3 courtyards and a sensory garden, is the kind of ground this price refers to.
Green roof and planter install starts at $145 CAD per m². Elise Brandt leads that work: soil, drainage and irrigation on roofs and in planters. Both prices are starting points. Area, in hectares or in m², comes from the survey.
Aftercare visits and winter pruning
A seasonal aftercare visit starts at $420 CAD. Samuel Quist coordinates these visits across the 24 months written into every planting contract. The visit is the unit. We do not quote the 24 months as a single lump sum on this page.
Winter pruning starts at $1,950 CAD per day for a crew of 3. Priya Raman directs pruning. Use it when a planted campus, courtyard or street needs structural cuts in the dormant season. The 2 seasons of watering included with a street tree at $680 CAD sit inside that tree price, separate from the $420 CAD visit.
What the survey settles
Bring a site, not a guessed count. The survey records pits, areas and access, and the plan names species within the 60% native or adapted policy. Stock is then ordered so that 80% is grown within 150 km. You will see the six starting prices again on the plan as rates, applied to the quantities we measured.
