Plain envelopes
Plain Envelopes are 120 gsm, C6, 25 to a pack, at €8. They suit one A4 sheet folded twice. The paper is blank, with no lining, no window and no printed return. In the shop you can fan them on the table or hold two up to the window, one white and one pale kraft, and look at the light through them. That is how Noor in Ghent chose. The pack is the same item either way. It is not a second envelope with another price. Soft Wove is the A4 sheet we most often set beside them, because both are 120 gsm and the letter inside is often written with a fountain pen. The kraft wrap for a posted pack is free.

Notebooks
The notebook stitched in the shop
The Stitched Notebook is 100 gsm, A5, 96 pages, at €16, for everyday notes. Hanna Kowalczyk stitches it in the shop. Stitching is part of the day at 14:00, after the morning samples and before parcels leave at 16:30. The books on the shelf show their spines and the thread. The pages are blank. We do not call the notebook Laid Writing and we do not call it Soft Wove. Those are separate packs. The notebook simply is 100 gsm, sewn, A5. It is not returnable once the stitching is a special cut or a page has been used. An unopened book can be returned within 30 days, like any unopened pack. Open books used as shop samples stay in the shop.

Which paper fits the envelope
The only envelope we sell is C6, for one A4 folded twice. These A4 papers fold into it: Airmail Bank, Everyday Bond, Laid Writing and Soft Wove. Airmail Bank is the one for a long letter abroad, when you may be folding more than a single page into that envelope. Everyday Bond is the one when the page was printed as well as written. Laid Writing is the one for a letter written by hand. Soft Wove is the one for a fountain pen. Grey Card is A5 and Cotton Rag is A3. Neither is an A4 sheet, so neither goes into the C6 as sold. Both can be cut to size at the counter for nothing if you need a piece that does fold twice. We do not stock another envelope size.
