[01] About
About & Our Installers
A small company with a workshop in Marlow and a crew that has been on Alder Valley roofs since 2011.
[02] The company
Two founders, still on site.
Taiyo Solar Works was founded in 2011 by Ruth Calloway, an electrical engineer who designs every system and files the permits, and Tomás Ibarra, a roofer who runs the installs and walks every finished roof. The name means “sun”; Tomás chose it after his first job, on a solar farm owned by a Japanese company.
We have fitted more than 600 roofs since 2011, in Marlow, Kenning, Ashby, Halden, Pell Harbor and Westbrook.
