Getting here
The shop is a bus ride and a ten-minute walk from the centre of Edinburgh. The front room is step-free. The back room has one step, and there is a ramp. New books and the front table are in the front room, so a visit for the new shelves does not need the step. Second-hand books, the bindery bench, and the Saturday reading are in the back room, which is where the ramp is. We do not name a bus route on this page. If you are coming for a Thursday valuation, arrange the time first. Valuations are free, by appointment, and Callum Reid does them. For a special order or a subscription note, ask for Ravi Menon.
