The shelf subscription began in 2019 with eleven people. Each fills in a short reading note: three books they loved and one they did not.
Hanna Moreau or Ravi Menon choose the book by the 5th of each month. It is wrapped and ready by the 10th, to collect or to post in the UK, at £24 a month.
If a subscriber already owns the book, they swap it within 30 days. It happens less often than we expected.
