A shop you can listen in
Most of what we sell,
you can hear first.
Oto Audio was founded in 2012 by Ines Vermeulen and Tomasz Wójcik, in a former print shop at Pelgrimsgang 14, Rotterdam. Ines buys the range and hosts the listening room. Tomasz works the bench and designs the A10 and the A40.
A listening hour is 60 minutes, free, and by appointment. You bring a phone, a laptop or a USB stick; we also stream. We match the volume and you compare up to three headphones or two speaker pairs. Walk-ins are welcome when the room is free.
The house range is eight products, all tuned in this room: H1, H2 and P7 headphones, A10 and A40 amplifiers, the D2 DAC, and S5 and S8 speakers. We listen first, then measure, and we write the sound in ordinary words.

Three headphones,
side by side.
Three headphones, played at the same volume in the room, on the same tracks. We list sound character in words: how wide, how close, how the bass sits, and whether the sound leaks.
