What is included

The inspection hour includes the 32-point paper checklist and the written report. The report is sent within two working days. Two technicians attend. The hour covers one lift and the five stops: landing, car, pit, machine and lobby. The groups on the sheet are landing doors (6), car (5), car doors (4), pit (4), rails and guides (3), machine (4), controller (4), and lobby and signs (2). A further lift on the same visit is charged at $140 and receives its own hour and its own checklist. A door adjustment, a fault call-out, a month of the service agreement and a second opinion on a quote are separate bookings at the prices above. They are not included in the $240. The monthly figure is $190 per lift. The agreement is its own line, booked on its own.

Is an inspection
hour a statutory
examination?

No. An inspection hour is not a statutory examination. It is sixty minutes with two technicians, five stops and a 32-point checklist on paper, followed by a written report in two working days. It does not stand in for an examination required by an authority, and the report is not a certificate. The same statement is in our terms. Booking the hour means booking that checklist and that report, at $240 for the first lift and $140 for each further lift on the same visit. Findings are discussed on the paper before we leave, in the last ten minutes, and then written up by Samira Haddad. If you need a statutory examination, say so when you book and we will tell you this visit is not that service. We would rather reply with a clear no within one working day.

How to read
an invoice

An invoice uses the same six names, in US dollars, excluding tax. The first inspection line is the first lift at $240. Any other lift seen on that same visit appears as its own line at $140. A door adjustment is its own line at $320, a call-out at $280, a second opinion at $180, and a month of the service agreement at $190 for each lift named. The checklist and the written report do not appear as extra lines on an inspection invoice. They belong to the inspection hour. Tax is outside these amounts. The invoice does not show a converted currency. If a line does not match one of the six items, ask before you pay it. Elena Castellano can point to the line. Call +1 555 0142 or write to book@noboru-lifts.example, Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 17:00.
