October 2026

0.1.22

You can now create a blank WordPress site without the AI, and the app picks its language from your computer the first time you open it.

  • Create a blank website: a new button on the Home screen, between the example ideas and the message box, drawn with a dashed outline. It makes a clean WordPress site with the default Twenty Twenty-Five theme from just a name. No AI and no credits are used, and you can still ask the AI to change it later.
  • The app speaks your computer’s language: on first launch, ShipPress follows your computer’s language (English, 日本語, Français, Deutsch or 繁體中文); a language it doesn’t have shows 繁體中文. Some screens and messages that didn’t follow the language you chose now do.
  • If you already have 0.1.21 installed, ShipPress updates itself automatically. See the 0.1.22 release on GitHub

0.1.21

The AI can now read what is on a page, so it stops missing things like a phone number on your Contact page. Sites it builds are cleaner, Undo names the right change, and plugin installs and sharing to your phone are clearer.

  • The AI can see what is on the page: on the canvas it can now read the information on a page, so it no longer says it can’t find, for example, a phone number that is right there on your Contact page.
  • Undo names the right change: the Undo button now shows the change you actually want to undo, not a wrong label.
  • Cleaner sites from the AI: the sites it builds have no invalid blocks, no duplicate menu titles, and no buttons that link to pages that don’t exist.
  • Navigation fixes: the Dashboard tab opens the right page, and tab labels are no longer cut off.
  • Clearer feedback when installing plugins: ShipPress tells you what changed, and if a download fails you get a message you can understand.
  • An easier share-to-phone window: Esc closes it, and the full web address is no longer cut off.
  • If you already have 0.1.20 installed, ShipPress updates itself automatically. See the 0.1.21 release on GitHub

0.1.20

Editing a single page by hand now opens the block editor in its own window, the mouse wheel works with the select tools, and the design wall sorts and loads better.

  • Edit by hand opens the block editor window: in the single-page preview, “Edit by hand” now pops up the block editor in its own window, just like the multi-page view. When you close it, your changes are saved automatically and you land back on the same page, reloaded. If something can’t be saved, ShipPress warns you first.
  • Scrolling with the Select and Lasso tools: you can now scroll the page with the mouse wheel while Select or Lasso is on. The one exception is while you are in the middle of drawing a Lasso.
  • Design wall “Sort by updated” fixed: the most recently updated designs are first again. They had slipped back to A–Z order.
  • Faster design wall: thumbnails now load as you scroll, so the wall opens faster and feels smoother.
  • If you already have 0.1.19 installed, ShipPress updates itself automatically. See the 0.1.20 release on GitHub

0.1.19

AI credits are now live, so you can build with AI inside the app without an AI subscription. A few things were fixed too, and the design wall keeps growing.

  • AI credits are live: you no longer need an AI subscription to build with AI in ShipPress. Buy credits in the app and build your site by chatting. New users get 1,000 free credits when they sign in, valid for 14 days as a trial. After that you can buy credits right inside the app with one of five plans: three one-off packs (no subscription), Starter US$10, Builder US$29 and Studio US$79, or two monthly plans, Lite US$19 and Pro US$49. You find it in Settings and in the first-run tour, next to your own AI accounts.
  • The design wall keeps growing: seven more designs are in, Nagi Imaging, Kura Wine, Suzu Ballet, Yoru Bar, Hatake Greens, Hikari Lighting and Getsuji Payroll.
  • Designs that were updated in the last 7 days appear first on the design wall, even before screenshots in your language are ready.
  • The PHP that ShipPress includes for your local sites is updated to version 8.4.27.
  • Fixes Antigravity showing an empty reply inside the app.
  • Settings no longer says “Signed in” for Cursor when its sign-in has actually expired.
  • The model menus in Settings → Your AI are now all the same width, so the page looks tidier.
  • The page preview picture for a design now waits a little longer for the page to load, so a slow-loading page is less likely to be wrongly marked as failed.

0.1.18

A full check-up for safety and steadiness, four new designs, and a clearer way to pick your AI.

  • Four new designs: Susugi Wash, Kama Cookware, Mame Coffee and Azuke Finance.
  • Settings → Your AI is now a simple table (which AI, whether it is ready, which model). For Codex, Antigravity and Cursor, the model list shows the models each tool really offers.
  • The first-run tour shows each AI’s own logo, and Codex now installs through its official installer.
  • Safer and steadier: connections to outside services only go to public secure websites and give up after a time limit, settings saved at the same moment no longer overwrite each other, a restore can no longer be interrupted by a new chat message, and a stuck connection no longer freezes the app.
  • If your saved connections file is damaged, ShipPress now keeps a backup copy instead of overwriting it. Search on exported static sites works again, and Simplified Chinese now shows Simplified text.

0.1.17

Cloudways sign-in updated, a link to our community, and tidier clean-up when you delete a site.

  • Cloudways now connects with an Access Token, and the Connect box tells you which permissions to tick. Cloudways switched off the old email + API key on October 15.
  • A “Join our Discord” button now sits at the bottom of the sidebar, including the narrow sidebar.
  • Deleting a site now deletes its scheduled tasks too. Leftovers from sites you deleted earlier are cleaned up when the app starts, so your nightly backup is no longer skipped because of a site that is gone.

0.1.16

Two more web hosts you can connect: Pressable and WordPress.com.

  • Pressable: see your sites, create a new WordPress site on your plan, and put a site online or download one.
  • WordPress.com (Business and Commerce plans) joins the Hosting list, with the host details and steps already filled in.
  • Both show a logo, a short description and a starting price in the Hosting list.
  • Pressable’s Connect box explains what to enter, and warns that using a site for the first time resets that site’s file-transfer (SFTP) password.

0.1.15

A fifth AI to choose from, a clearer Hosting page, and bigger or smaller text.

  • Cursor is now the fifth AI: sign in under Settings → Your AI and your Workers can run on it.
  • Cloudways can be connected: see your sites and create a new WordPress site on a server you already have.
  • Press ⌘ = , ⌘ - or ⌘ 0 to make the whole app’s text larger, smaller, or back to normal.
  • Hosting settings are now a table showing each host’s logo, what it is good for and its starting price. Connected hosts get their own section, and “Tell us” lets you suggest a host that is missing.
  • In multi-page preview, “Editor” is now “Edit by hand” and opens as a pop-up on the canvas; press Esc or close it to save. The preview toolbar is tidier too.

0.1.14

Check your pages at different screen widths, and continue a chat from your phone.

  • Multi-page preview can add tablet, phone or desktop widths next to each page, and the select tool works on every width.
  • Continue a Worker chat on your phone (through Claude Code and Codex remote control), with both sides staying in sync.
  • The canvas lists single pages of custom content types, and Sites has an “Open folder” button.
  • The select and circle tools now have names, circled areas stay until you remove or send the attachment, and the editor saves itself 1.5 seconds after a change.
  • Fixed screenshots freezing on large pages, and the dashboard, editor and global styles not filling the preview area.

0.1.13

Simple mode gets more control, and cleaning up sites is easier.

  • Simple mode can pick the AI and model from the message box, and shows your usage (Claude and Codex 5-hour quota, Grok spend).
  • Delete several local sites at once, with the disk space each one uses shown.
  • When you open ShipPress from the downloaded disk image or the Downloads folder, it offers to move itself to Applications.
  • Leaving the dashboard saves your work automatically, and the design wall shows the newest designs first.
  • A refused sign-in now says “Sign-in expired” and shows the command to sign in again. A failed update tells you whether it did not download or could not replace the app, with a download link.
