Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 12, 2026
ShipPress is made by Codotx, LLC (“we”). This policy covers this website and the ShipPress desktop app.
This website
This site is plain static pages served by Cloudflare, plus one small script of our own for the Windows signup form. It sets no cookies and loads no analytics, trackers, ad scripts, external fonts or third-party embeds. Like any web server, Cloudflare may keep standard access logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and operations.
The download button links to GitHub, which is governed by GitHub’s own privacy policy.
Windows “Notify me” list
If you ask to be told when the Windows version is ready, we store:
- your email address,
- that you ticked the consent box, and
- the date and time you signed up.
This is kept in a Cloudflare D1 database and used for one thing only: sending you a single email when the Windows version is available. We do not add you to a newsletter, share the address, or sell it. To stop abuse, the form counts requests per visitor for one hour using a one-way, salted hash of the IP address; the IP address itself is not stored, and these counters are cleared after about an hour.
Want your email removed before then? Open an issue at github.com/oberonlai/shippress-releases asking us to delete it, and we will. You do not need to post the full address publicly: the first few letters and the domain (for example “ann…@example.com”) are enough for us to find it.
The ShipPress app
- Your sites stay on your computer. The WordPress sites you build are stored on your computer.
- AI services. When you chat with a Worker, your messages and the relevant site files are sent to the AI service you chose (for example Claude Code by Anthropic or Grok Build by xAI), using your own account and under that provider’s terms and privacy policy. We do not receive your AI login.
- Going live. When you click Go live, your site is uploaded to the hosting provider or server you selected.
- Share to phone. When you turn sharing on, a temporary, password-protected link makes your local site reachable through a tunnelling service until you stop sharing or it expires.
- Updates. The app checks GitHub for new versions.
