Opening hours and holiday closures
We are open daily to the public throughout the year. Our hours are Monday to Saturday from 8:30 to 18:00, and Sunday from 10:00 to 17:00. The nursery is closed on 25 and 26 December for Christmas and on 1 January for New Year’s Day. Our click and collect counter operates throughout regular opening hours, allowing you to collect ordered plants, terracotta pots, and compost bags smoothly.
Finding us, parking, and transit
The nursery is situated at 14 Alder Lane, Fernhill. We offer forty free vehicle parking spaces on site, with flat loading trolleys located by the entrance gate to help carry heavy shrubs or compost sacks to your car. If travelling by public transit, take Bus Route 7 and disembark at the Alder Lane stop, positioned fifty paces from our front entrance. Bicycle racks are available beside the main gravel path.
What should I know before visiting?
Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome throughout our outdoor yard and glasshouse aisles. We advise wearing sensible flat footwear, as gravel pathways are regularly hosed down during bench watering.
