Six individuals care for Kaname Watches, dividing our focus between the Ghent counter, the watchmaker’s bench, movement sourcing, and strap crafting. We work together in small numbers to maintain close attention on every watch that passes across our felt tray.
ILSE VERHOEVEN
FOUNDER · CHOOSES EVERY WATCH
Founder Ilse Verhoeven established Kaname Watches in 2012, setting out our philosophy of keeping never more than twelve mechanical pieces on the list. Ilse personally evaluates and selects every watch that enters the shop.
Working alongside her, watchmaker Tomasz Wrona runs the service bench at Klokstraat 12. Tomasz conducts arrival inspections, regulates escapements, performs same-day timing checks, and handles comprehensive overhauls taking four to six weeks, backing each completed service with a twelve-month warranty.
