A doctor examining a mole with a dermatoscope

SKIN CHECKS

Skin checks, without the worry

A skin check takes about 20 minutes and is the best way to catch changes early. Dr. Odum explains what he sees as he goes.

WHAT HAPPENS

From scalp to soles

You change into a gown and the doctor examines the skin in good light, including the scalp, between the toes and under the nails. A dermatoscope is a small handheld magnifier that lets us see colour and pattern under the surface of a mole.

With your consent we photograph any mole worth following, so the next visit compares like with like. Nothing is done without you hearing what it is first.
