Eczema and dry, itchy skin
Eczema is common at every age. The skin is dry, itchy and flares from time to time, often at the elbows, knees, hands or eyelids. We look for what sets it off, agree a simple routine with plain moisturisers, and explain when a short course of a prescription cream is worth using and how much to apply.
Most people see the skin settle within a few weeks. A review visit is booked if it does not.

Acne and acne scarring
Acne is treatable at any age. At the first visit we ask what you have tried, look at the skin and agree one routine at a time, because most plans need six to eight weeks before anything changes.
Scars are discussed once the skin is quiet. Teenagers are welcome to come alone or with a parent, whichever they prefer.

Moles and skin cancer screening
A skin check is a head-to-toe look with a handheld dermatoscope. We note anything that has changed in size, shape or colour, and with your consent photograph a mole so it can be compared next time.
If something needs a biopsy it can usually be done the same day. Results are explained in person or by phone, never only by letter.

Children’s skin
Babies, children and teenagers see Dr. Castellano for birthmarks, eczema, warts, molluscum and acne. She talks to the child first and keeps the visit short and calm.
Parents leave with a written plan for home and a number to call if the rash changes.

Cosmetic dermatology
Cosmetic visits begin with a consultation, where Dr. Raman asks what bothers you, examines the skin and explains what treatments can and cannot do. Treatments are medical-grade and self-pay.
The consultation fee is credited toward any treatment you choose.
