Mara Ellison and Nia Okoro: Ground Floor

Mara Ellison founded Hazuki Instruments in 2009 and oversees the ground-floor guitar and bass department. With over twenty years of playing experience, Mara focuses on matching players to instrument necks, weights, and acoustics that feel natural to hold and play. Sharing the ground floor, Nia Okoro manages our rentals and lessons desk. Nia coordinates monthly rentals, organizes student instrument fittings, and manages sound booth bookings with clear, friendly advice for beginners, parents, and seasoned local performers alike.

Kenji Arai and Leila Haddad: First Floor

Kenji Arai directs our first-floor piano showroom, caring for upright and digital pianos with meticulous attention to acoustic resonance and touch. Kenji also conducts home visits for piano tuning across the Wellmouth community. Across the first floor, Leila Haddad manages orchestral strings and bows. Leila assists violinists, violists, and cellists with chin rests, shoulder rests, and bow balance, ensuring students and orchestral players find instruments that allow relaxed posture, clean bowing mechanics, and rich tonal projection.

Sofia Brandt and Tomás Ruiz: Second Floor

Sofia Brandt leads our band and orchestra department on the second floor, working with flutes, clarinets, saxophones, and brass. Sofia regularly coordinates with local school music programs to fit student trumpet sections and individual players with suitable mouthpieces and horns. Beside the band department, Tomás Ruiz directs drums and percussion. Tomás assists drummers with snare response, cymbals, stick selection, and hardware ergonomics, helping players configure kits that feel balanced, durable, and acoustically suited to their practice spaces.

Owen Pike: Second Floor Workbench

Owen Pike heads our second-floor repair workbench, providing setups, restrings, pad replacements, and delicate structural restorations. Whether reviving a vintage 1970s acoustic guitar or regulating the action on a student bass, Owen approaches every repair with steady patience and transparent craftsmanship. Visitors can watch Owen work through the open counter, where he gladly explains bridge heights, fret dressing, and seasonal humidity care so players understand how to preserve their instruments between shop visits.
