Answer who we are feeding, how old they are, and whether anything needs watching. The three rows are choices, not a form and not steps you must finish in order. Each choice opens the matching suggestions, with a note on how to switch food over ten days.
Why Mochi

Isla Morrow and Tomasz Kowal opened Mochi in Leith in 2017 so the food on the shelf would be chosen the way a household chooses its own. Short ingredient lists come first. Tomasz buys from suppliers the packing room can name, and Isla, a former veterinary nurse, stays on the shop floor to talk through age and the one thing a customer is watching.
The same care follows the box out. Lucas Ferreira packs in the room behind the shop, and orders in by 14:00 Monday to Friday leave the same day. Kofi Mensah takes the Tuesday and Friday van through Leith, Portobello and Stockbridge. Anyone who wants to talk it through can sit with Dr Amara Osei on Thursday between 15:00 and 19:00 for a free 20 minutes of general guidance, never a diagnosis.

This month’s box is packed 3–7 Nov: Everyday Adult Dog Food, chicken and brown rice, 6 kg; Adult Cat Dry Food, white fish, 2 kg; and Timothy Hay, meadow cut, 2.5 kg. A repeat delivery is 10% less. It leaves with that week’s orders from the packing room.

On Thursdays the nutrition desk at 18 Brunton Lane is open from 15:00 to 19:00. Dr Amara Osei, visiting veterinary nutritionist, offers a free 20-minute chat: age, a sensitive tummy, weight, or a food switch over 10 days. It is general guidance, not a diagnosis, and illness belongs with your vet. Book in the shop or by email at hello@mochipets.example. On other days Priya Nair runs the food finder at the counter.
