Seven seats, seven checks before you buy a minivan

Tomás Ortega, our service manager, has a short list for anyone buying a seven-seater, and it starts with the doors. Open and close each sliding door ten times and listen: a smooth rail now is a smooth rail in five years.

Then sit in the third row yourself. If an adult cannot sit there for ten minutes, the seats will be used for luggage and the car is the wrong size.

Last, check where the child seats actually fit. Bring them to the test drive. We are happy to wait while you click them in.
