Why the ledger comes first
A line, then the next
Accountancy begins with a clean rule across the page and the patient entry of figures that balance. At Kanjo College we teach adults to master financial records from first principles, replacing uncertainty with disciplined calculation and methodical working habits.
Whether you are entering finance from another career or formalising years of practical bookkeeping, our classroom routines are built around quiet focus. You work through physical exercises on paper, trace ledger entries and test your understanding against real commercial scenarios.
Classes never exceed sixteen learners, so you talk with your lecturer every week. By learning one paper at a time in a structured twelve-week term, you build lasting technical fluency without disrupting your existing work.

The papers
Four papers, one ruled line
Each paper runs 36 class hours across a twelve-week term. Take one at a time and move to the next when you are ready.

Financial Accounting

Double entry, trial balances and the primary statements.

Management Accounting
Paper 2 · 12 weeks
Costing, budgets and variance analysis for decisions.

Tax & Payroll
Paper 3 · 12 weeks
Tax computations, statutory deductions and payroll routines.

Audit & Assurance
Paper 4 · 12 weeks
Verification, controls and professional documentation.
The twelve-week term
How a term is paced
12 weeks
2 evenings a week
2 mock papers
Every term follows the same rhythm, so you always know where you are. Teaching is 36 class hours per paper, as day classes on Mondays and Wednesdays (09:30–15:30) or evening classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays (18:30–21:00).
Every cohort sits two invigilated mock papers: a practice paper in week 6 and a full mock in week 9, each marked and returned before exam week, which is week 12. Results follow six weeks later.

Evening study room
A room built for concentration
Our Northgate study rooms stay open until 20:30 on weekdays, so you can review ledger exercises or prepare for a mock paper in quiet.
