Apply online. The application window for the September 2027 Diploma intake opens on Monday 15 February 2027 and closes on Wednesday 31 March 2027. Applications close at 17:00 on the last day. The application fee is $60.

The next intake itself is Monday 6 September 2027, for the Diploma of Nursing. Marguerite Dubois is the admissions officer. She meets applicants in the admissions office. Ask the office before you use the Diploma dates for June or January.

The second step is a written statement. After you apply online, you write the statement the college reads before it invites you to interview. Write about the course you are asking to enter, and write in your own words.

Interview and a lab morning are the third step, in April 2027. The month is the published fact. A day inside April is not. The lab morning attached to interview is not the public open lab. The open lab is the first Saturday of each month, 10:00 to 12:00, free, with no booking, and anyone may come. The interview lab morning is for applicants the college has called.

You will be in the skills lab, the room with the made beds, and you may be asked to try one skill in a small group. The teaching ratio in every lab hour of the course is 6 students to 1 instructor. The interview morning is a look at that kind of work, not a shift on a ward. Offers follow the interview. They do not precede it.

Offers go out by Friday 14 May 2027. An offer is a place on a named programme, not a registration and not a job. The Diploma offers 48 places a year and starts on Monday 6 September 2027. The Foundation Term has 24 places and starts in June.

Return to Practice has 12 places and starts in January. Entry to the Diploma asks for secondary school completion with biology or a science course. A health check and a background check come before the first placement, not before the offer is even read.

Graduates may apply to the regional nursing register; registration is decided by the register, not by the college. An offer from Kango College is an offer to study. The regional nursing register makes its own decision later, and the college does not describe that decision in advance.
